LSGA Water Management Conference a great success!

Chatoyer Water would like to thank all attendees and the Deniliquin Council for hosting a successful 3 day conference and we’re already looking forward attending the LGSA WMC in Orange, 2010. Significant interest was shown in Chatoyer Waters capabilities and product offering both in water and wastewater treatment. Key water treatment concerns identified by the conference included bore water in many regions not being up to ADWG and solutions available. Wastewater treatment concerns identified included the EPA becoming more stringent to where councils put their wastewater and the quality of it as there are many villages in NSW without sewerage services.

MBBR growth predicted

Currently, the Moving Bed Bioreactor Systems (MBBR) market ranks among the few world markets to have strong development foundations and double-digit growth rates. This growth is expected over the next seven years, including the period of economic downturn. In 2008 the global market for MBBR solutions was valued at $127.6 million. Frost & Sullivan expects to witness a five-fold increase in this market to reach $651.1 million by 2015.
